Love’s Alibi

Love's Alibi emerged from an ongoing conversation about what Nashville needs from a modern cocktail bar. Designed in partnership with LeBlanc + Smith Hospitality Group, the project prioritizes atmosphere as its primary design material, combining custom furnishings, illuminated architectural elements, and responsive lighting to create an environment that changes with the energy of the room. Frank Atelier led the interior design, developing a space that balances intimacy, spectacle, and a strong sense of identity within Nashville's evolving hospitality landscape.

Notable Features:

  • Venue-Wide Dynamic Lighting: Integrated LED lighting scenes evolve throughout the day and evening, allowing the space to continuously transform alongside service and occupancy.

  • Custom Furniture & Millwork: Purpose-built furnishings designed specifically for the venue to support both operational needs and the overall design narrative.

  • Illuminated Glass Block Architecture: Large-scale glass block installations introduce texture, glow, and visual separation while serving as defining architectural elements.
